There’s something extra special about a first birthday. It marks a full year of love, growth, sleepless nights, and so many incredible milestones. Celebrating that moment with a cake smash session is such a fun and meaningful way to capture it all, and Bryson’s session was no exception!.
Bryson came in to celebrate turning ONE with the cutest “silly goose” themed cake smash. This theme was playful, lighthearted, and perfect for such a happy milestone. We designed the setup using soft greens, gold, and white to keep everything feeling clean, fresh, and timeless while still adding that fun pop of personality.
The balloon arch tied everything together beautifully, with adorable silly goose cutouts that brought the whole scene to life. It was simple, cohesive, and just the right balance of whimsical and classic.
For this session, we used a faux cake and a faux baby bath, which is a great option for parents who want the look of a cake smash without the mess (or sugar!). Bryson still had so much fun exploring the setup, playing, and giving us those sweet expressions that make these sessions so memorable.

After the cake smash portion, we moved into some family photos. I always love including these because while baby is the star of the show, this milestone is just as meaningful for the parents. We also captured some beautiful mommy and me images, which are always so special to look back on in the years to come.
