A Beautiful Family Session with Robyn, Robin & Their Sweet Twin Boys

There is something so special about watching a family return for a full session after first meeting at Christmas minis. I originally met Robyn and Robin during my holiday mini sessions in my Cloverdale studio, and I was so happy when they decided to book a full family shoot with me. It truly means so much when families come back and trust me again to capture their memories.

From the moment they arrived, you could feel the warmth in this family. Robyn is such a caring and attentive mom, always gently guiding and encouraging her boys. Robin is a devoted and hands-on dad, quick with a smile and ready to scoop up a giggling toddler at a moment’s notice. Together, they create such a loving, steady presence for their twins.


The boys are absolutely adorable. Like many twins, they look similar at first glance -but when you spend time with them, you start to see just how different and unique they each are. One might flash a mischievous grin, while the other studies the room with wide-eyed curiosity. Their personalities are already shining through in the sweetest ways.

I loved capturing a variety of moments during this session. We started with full family portraits - classic, timeless images that will look beautiful on their walls for years to come. From there, we focused on sibling photos. Watching the boys interact together was such a joy. They were gentle, curious, and so naturally connected. Those sibling images are always some of my favourites because they capture a bond that will last a lifetime.

We also made time for individual portraits of each twin. I always encourage this, especially with multiples, because it gives each child their own moment to shine. It’s so important to celebrate their individuality - their expressions, their little quirks, their stage of life right now.

Of course, we couldn’t skip the mommy-and-me poses. There is something incredibly meaningful about photographing a mother with her children. The way Robyn looked at her boys - full of pride and tenderness - is exactly why I believe so strongly that moms need to be in the photos. Years from now, these images will be treasures.

Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do. As a mom myself, I know how quickly these early years pass. Capturing the connection between parents and their children, especially at this busy twin stage, is such an honour.



Robyn and Robin, thank you for trusting me again with your beautiful family. Your boys are growing so quickly, and it was such a joy to document this season for you. I can’t wait to see you all again for the next milestone.
