Recently I had the pleasure of photographing a newborn session for Celina and her family as they welcomed their beautiful new baby girl. Celina and her husband brought their three-year-old son to the studio as well, making this a special session to celebrate their growing family of four.
For this session we chose soft neutrals with touches of pink to celebrate their new daughter. Neutral tones create a timeless and elegant look that keeps the focus on the baby and family connection, while the gentle pink accents added a sweet nod to their baby girl.
Big brother arrived with all the personality and energy that comes with being three years old! Preschoolers can bring a mix of excitement, curiosity, and big emotions to a photo session, and that’s completely normal. We worked together patiently with mom and dad to help him feel comfortable. With a few snacks, some encouragement, and even a quick cartoon break, we were able to capture some lovely sibling and family portraits.
After big brother had his turn in front of the camera, we focused on the newest little member of the family. We created a full gallery of newborn portraits highlighting her tiny features, soft poses, and those fleeting newborn details that change so quickly in the first weeks of life.
It was such a joy to photograph Celina’s family and capture these early memories of their baby girl’s arrival. These are the moments that families love looking back on as the years go by and the children grow.
