There’s something incredibly special about photographing newborn twins. There’s a quiet magic in the way they curl into each other, like they’ve never been apart—and a beautiful rhythm to capturing their early moments together. When Janira came into the studio with her precious newborn twins, a baby boy and girl, I knew it was going to be a session filled with love, tenderness, and a whole lot of heart.
Janira is a mother of four, and she brought her entire crew along—her two older children, a proud big brother and an adoring big sister, joined us for family portraits. Watching the connection between siblings is always such a highlight. There were gentle kisses, sweet snuggles, and giggles between shots. The older two were so loving and helpful, and it was clear these twins are surrounded by so much love from the very beginning.
In the studio, we created a timeless and soft session that focused on the bond between the twins, individual portraits, and the connection between all four siblings. I made sure the room was cozy and quiet so the babies could stay asleep and snuggled during their poses. We used neutral tones and delicate textures—wraps, bonnets, and soft layers chosen to highlight just how tiny and perfect they are right now.
