There is something so special about those first days as a new parent, when time seems to stand still and every detail feels brand new. Camille stepped into motherhood with such grace, and it was an honor to document this season for her family as they welcomed their sweet baby girl, Nora.
For Nora’s newborn session, we kept everything soft and natural. My approach for this gallery was simple posing, textured fabrics, and timeless neutrals that allow the focus to remain on baby and the beautiful connection between her parents. Camille and her husband chose clothing in gentle, neutral tones that complemented the studio’s warm textures perfectly, creating images that feel calm, elegant, and heartfelt.
Baby Nora has the most unique and beautiful stork bite on her forehead in the shape of a butterfly! As with all newborns, I tend to leave the red marks from birth unless specifically asked to remove them. These birthmarks are beautiful and unique newborn characteristics. They often fade as the child grows.
Baby Nora was content in her parents’ arms, and the session flowed with ease. The intimate moments of mom and dad holding their daughter, the way they looked at her with awe and tenderness, are the details I love to preserve. These images will be cherished not only for how they look, but for how they feel—natural, relaxed, and filled with love.
