Another sweet family in the studio, and another reminder of why I love these mini sessions so much.
Max and Natasha came in for a family mini session here in Cloverdale with their absolutely adorable baby girl, and from the moment they walked in, it was clear this session was going to be full of love, connection, and those little in-between moments that mean everything.
There is something so special about this stage. Babies are curious, expressive, and full of personality. One minute they’re giving you those big wide-eyed looks, the next they’re cuddling into mom or reaching out for dad. It’s unpredictable in the best way, and it makes every gallery completely unique.
We kept everything simple and timeless with soft neutral tones and a clean backdrop. This really allows the focus to stay where it should be—on your family, your connection, and your baby’s sweet little features. Natasha looked beautiful in soft neutrals, and Max’s relaxed, natural presence balanced everything perfectly. Their baby girl absolutely stole the show with her big eyes, tiny expressions, and those perfect little baby rolls.
During mini sessions, we move through a variety of combinations quickly but intentionally. We captured full family portraits, some sweet moments of mom and baby, dad and baby, and of course those solo baby shots that everyone loves. Those are always the ones parents look back on and say, “I can’t believe she was ever that small.”
Even in a shorter session, there’s so much magic. A quick cuddle, a little giggle, a curious look toward the camera—these moments happen fast, but they’re the ones that tell your story.
aby photos really are the best. They change so quickly, and capturing them at this stage freezes a moment in time that you’ll never get back, but will always be so grateful to remember.
